The Oaks Academy is a secure post-adjudication facility located in Brownwood, Texas that provides comprehensive services to young men (13-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features group, individual, and family therapy, on-site schooling, individual dorm rooms, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. Pay : Pay rate determined upon license held, education & years of experience

What you will do: The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as: clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. As the Licensed Therapist, you may document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require you to provide crisis intervention, as necessary and does require monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within your care.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
