Job summary

The Oaks Academy in Brownwood, TX, operated by Rite of Passage Brand, is hiring a Licensed Therapist (LCDC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW) to support youth through individual, family, and group therapy in a secure post-adjudication setting.

You will conduct clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, and maintain records while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team. Texas licensure, a Master’s degree, age 21+, and background checks are required; driving eligibility is also needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Texas license (LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field is required.

• Must pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.

The Oaks Academy is a secure post-adjudication facility located in Brownwood, Texas that provides comprehensive services to young men (13-17), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. Pay : Pay rate determined upon license held, education & years of experience

What you will do: The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as: clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. As the Licensed Therapist, you may document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require you to provide crisis intervention, as necessary and does require monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within your care.

• Have an Teaxs license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, OR LMFT
• Must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
