Job summary

PsychPlus in Willoughby, Ohio is hiring a Full-Time PHP Therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. You will lead group therapy, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support teens aged 11-17 in a structured, therapeutic setting.

A valid Ohio license (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC) and experience with adolescents are required. The role involves individual therapy, family work, thorough documentation, and contributing to treatment planning

Qualifications

• Active Ohio license (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC) required.
• Experience with adolescents required.
• Experience in PHP/IOP/inpatient/residential or similar settings preferred.
• Experience with ages 11-17.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with group and individual therapy.

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapy sessions for adolescent clients in the PHP program.
• Work with adolescents ages 11-17 with diverse emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning.
• Facilitate group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other team members.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to coordinate patient care.
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

PsychPlus is hiring a Full-Time PHP Therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Willoughby, Ohio.

This role includes group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work. We're looking for someone passionate about mental health, ready to make a positive impact on the lives of teens!

What You’ll Do

• Lead group therapy sessions for adolescent clients in the PHP program
• Working with adolescents ages 11-17 experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning
• Participate in and facilitate group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescent clients

What We’re Looking For

• Active Ohio license required: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
• Experience working with adolescents required
• Experience in PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, or other structured behavioral health settings preferred
• Experience working with children/adolescents ages 11-17
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
