Job summary

PsychPlus in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking a Full-Time PHP Therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. The role focuses on treating adolescents ages 11–17 who face mental health challenges, with responsibilities including group sessions, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessments, and family work.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio license required: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
• Experience working with adolescents required
• Experience in PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, or other structured behavioral health settings preferred
• Experience working with children/adolescents ages 11–17
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable providing both group and individual therapy

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapy sessions for adolescent clients in the PHP program
• Working with adolescents ages 11–17 experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning
• Participate in and facilitate group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care
• Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescent clients
