Job summary

PsychPlus in Willowbrook, Houston, TX is hiring a Full-Time Lead Therapist to join our Child & Adolescent Program. The role focuses on adolescents aged 11–17, providing individual and group therapy, biopsychosocial assessments, and family work within a Partial Hospitalization Program.

You will supervise associates, contribute to treatment planning, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensure quality documentation, and maintain a supportive, engaging clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LPC-S or LCSW-S license with board-approved supervisor status.
• Experience supervising associates/pre-licensed clinicians.
• Experience leading teams in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to children and adolescents ages 11–17.
• Assess and treat emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Communicate with clients, families, and clinicians.
• Exercise clinical judgment with adolescent clients.

Location: Willowbrook, Houston, TX | In-Person| W-2 Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We are hiring a Full-Time Lead Therapist to join our Child & Adolescent Program in Willowbrook, Houston, TX

This role is an important part of the team in our Partial Hospitalization Program- treating adolescents struggling with mental health challenges. This role includes group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work. We're looking for someone passionate about mental health, ready to make a positive impact on the lives of teens!

We’re looking for a PHP Therapist (LPC-S or LCSW-S) to join our Child & Adolescent Program

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and group therapy to children and adolescents ages 11–17
• Assess and treat a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical team members
• Exercise strong clinical judgment when working with adolescent clients
• Create an engaging, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients

What We’re Looking For

• Required: Active Taxes clinical license and Texas Board-approved/qualified clinical supervisor status, with demonstrated experience supervising associate or pre-licensed clinicians.
• Active, unrestricted LPC-S or LCSW-S license in Texas
• Experience supervising associates/pre-licensed clinicians
• Experience in leadership and administrative work
• Professional experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents ages 11–17
• Experience working specifically with ages 11–17 in a mental health setting
• Experience in IOP, PHP, inpatient, or similar behavioral health settings
• Comfortable treating a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns in adolescents
