Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine in Charlottesville, VA is seeking licensed clinicians to join a clinician-led team focused on integrating therapy and medication management. The position offers full-time outpatient work with flexible, hybrid scheduling and strong administrative support to enhance patient care.

Ideal candidates hold an unrestricted VA license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) and a Master’s degree in Counseling, MFT, or Social Work.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice in the state of care delivery (VA).
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work.
• Ability to utilize the EHR and other software for care delivery.
• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of providers to deliver integrated care.
• Participate in onboarding and orientation for new staff.
• Maintain timely health records in the EHR.
• Deliver psychotherapy and ensure standard of care.
• Refer patients internally for medication management and other treatments.
• Role responsibilities may include additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work collaborative within a team of providers

• Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other needed treatment modalities

• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
