Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Substance Use Disorder Psychotherapist (LICSW or LMHC) in Worcester, MA. Join a clinician-led team providing integrated behavioral health care within a primary care model.

You will use CBT and motivational interviewing to treat SUD and related conditions, work with prescribing clinicians, and offer both in-person and telehealth services. This role requires MA licensure and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Clear, active and unrestricted license (LICSW or LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• At least one year of experience with SUD and/or dual diagnoses patients.
• Experience with individual counseling and group counseling (educational, skills-based, process groups).
• Knowledge of CBT and motivational interviewing preferred.
• Familiarity with local community resources and health psychology concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for primary care patients with behavioral health disorders, including substance use disorders.
• Enhance patient engagement using evidenced-based tools such as CBT and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborate with Integrated Clinician and regional prescribers to implement treatment plans.
• Deliver care in-person and via telehealth with required equipment provided.
• Potential opportunity to supervise early-career clinicians.
