Job summary

Qualifications

• Active LADC licensure or ADC-T status in Minnesota.
• Experience in substance use disorder counseling or related behavioral health field.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, and trauma-informed care.
• Strong clinical documentation and case management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use disorder treatment and recovery
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, medical staff, and community resources
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Support clients in developing coping strategies, relapse prevention plans, and life skills
