Job summary

ZS Architectural Engineering in Milwaukee/Chicago hybrid role seeks a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to work on diverse projects including new construction, renovations, and high-rise buildings. You will perform analyses, prepare drawings and reports, and stamp documents.

You’ll collaborate with architects and contractors, participate in site visits, and grow toward senior leadership and client ownership opportunities while enjoying comprehensive benefits and hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6-10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong technical engineering and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to independently perform structural design work.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Review and stamp engineering documents as required.
• Participate in building assessments, inspections, and field investigations.
• Support renovation, rehabilitation, and addition projects.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and engineering teams.
• Participate in site visits and project meetings.
• Work across projects from initial concept through construction completion.
