Job summary

ZS Architectural Engineering in Milwaukee/Chicago hybrid role seeks a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to work on diverse projects including new construction, renovations, and high-rise buildings. You will perform analyses, prepare drawings and reports, and stamp documents.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6-10 years of structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Review and stamp engineering documents as required.
• Participate in building assessments, inspections, and field investigations.
• Support renovation, rehabilitation, and addition projects.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance reviews.

ZS Architectural Engineering is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to join our growing team. At ZS Architectural Engineering, you'll work across a diverse mix of structural engineering projects including new construction, building renovations, existing structure assessments, inspections, construction engineering, data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and high-rise buildings.

Our engineers aren't confined to a single project type or service line. You'll have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across the full lifecycle of buildings while working alongside specialists in structural engineering, building enclosure consulting, digital modeling, and construction support services.

This role is ideal for a licensed PE who enjoys hands-on engineering, wants to remain technically engaged, and is looking for long-term growth into senior engineering, project leadership, and future client ownership opportunities.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

Preferred

• Experience with renovations, additions, and existing buildings
• Building inspection or assessment experience
• Construction engineering / means and methods experience
