Job summary

HealthCare Therapy Service in Demotte, IN seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy to residents in a senior living community on a PRN basis, with growth potential into part-time. You will evaluate, treat, and document outcomes while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support resident communication and swallowing needs.

The ideal candidate holds an active Indiana license (or eligibility), CCC-SLP or CF supervision, and is legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Active Indiana SLP license or eligibility to obtain Indiana license.
  • CCC-SLP or be supervised as CF before attaining CCCs.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and screenings of residents' speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive resident care.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Senior Living Community

Join our dedicated therapy team at HTS, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors within a beautiful and highly respected community in Demotte, IN. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential therapy services on a PRN basis, with potential for growth into a consistent part-time role. This position offers a flexible schedule and a supportive environment committed to professional development and patient care.

Job Details:
  • Conduct evaluations and screenings to assess residents’ speech, language, and swallowing functions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents’ communication and swallowing needs
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
Requirements

Applicants must have active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam.

Additionally, applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
