Job summary

Theracare Inc. in Indiana seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders. You will work as part of a therapy team across SNFs, outpatient and home health settings.

The role requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and an active state license, with preference for 1 year in rehabilitation. PRN position with regional management support.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current state license/certification.
  • Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders.
  • Work as part of a team providing support and information in Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Provide therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient, Long Term Care or Home Health Care.

Qualifications

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current state license/certification
  • Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
  • Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
