Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Social Worker to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in developing care plans for clients requiring social work intervention. The role provides support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families facing challenges, with responsibilities including assessments, care plan development, and service coordination.

The position requires an MSW (or BA) and LSW/RSW licensure as applicable by state, CPR if needed, and compliance with applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required or current state registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) depending on state in which they will be working.
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those clients requiring social work intervention.
• The Licensed Social Worker will provide support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families facing various challenges.
• This role involves conducting assessments, developing care plans, coordinating services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote overall well-being.
