Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans for patients and provide counseling and crisis intervention. This contract position requires an MSW and an LCSW license, with preferred prior social work experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
• Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
• Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention
• Provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span
