Job summary

Massillon Health & Rehab Center is seeking a Social Worker to support the Director in meeting the emotional and social needs of residents. You will participate in planning and directing the Social Services Department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The role requires a current Social Work license (OH) and a high school diploma, with preference for Long Term Care and behavioral health experience. Excellent communication in English and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered Social Work license as required by state/federal regulations.
• Experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience in social services or direct care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to manage the Social Services Department in accordance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the department's operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain standards of practice.
