Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated professional to assist the Director of Social Services in a skilled nursing facility. You will help meet residents’ medically related emotional and social needs and support the planning, organization, and direction of the Social Services department.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Social Work license if required, and experience in long-term care or behavioral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a current, unencumbered Social Work license in the state where you work, if required.
• Experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health.
• Healthcare experience in social services, direct care, or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to meet residents' medically related emotional and social needs.
• Help plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Social Services department.
• Maintain health, sanitary and infection control policies and follow standards set by the community.
