Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services, LLC in Walterboro, SC seeks a qualified Social Worker to plan, implement, and evaluate programs for residents in accordance with assessments and care plans. You will work under the direction of the Director of Social Services to support veterans’ social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Social Work and at least one year of supervised experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating the ability to address age-related resident

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an approved school for a facility of this size.
• At least one year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as directed by the Director of Social Services.
