Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. seeks a Licensed Senior Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store and drive the customer journey. You will apply optics knowledge to meet eyewear needs and guide patients through the Visionworks experience.

The role emphasizes delivering strong sales results, engaging customers, and maintaining product expertise while supporting store operations and team development.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Optician license required or in process.
• HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engages with patients and recommends eyewear products and services.
• Measures patients for eyewear and maintains product knowledge through training.
• Performs daily store operations including restocking, merchandising and fulfillment.

$28 - $32 per hour

The Role:

A VisionworksLicensedSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• Current State Opticians License
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma,GEDor equivalent related job experience
