Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership seeks a Sales Executive Trainee to assist Owners/guests with experiences and events, helping create memorable vacation memories in a friendly, supportive environment. The role requires a real estate license where mandated, a minimum one-year sales background in timeshare, flexible weekends/holidays, and opportunities to earn through wages, incentives, and bonuses.

The incumbent will engage guests, promote promotions, and contribute to team goals within Hyatt's vacation

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum recent sales experience in the timeshare industry.
• One-year related experience is preferred.
• Active Real Estate License where mandated by law.

Responsibilities

• Answer Owner questions regarding properties and amenities and make recommendations.
• Follow up on referrals/leads from Owners.
• Fulfill requests regarding pricing, maps, descriptions, locations, and portfolio information.
• Contact Owners to monitor satisfaction and develop business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain records on customer contacts for effective follows-up.

As a Sales Executive Trainee, a typical day will include:

• Answer Owner questions regarding the use of properties and location amenities; make recommendations given the background information obtained on the owner through discovery.
• Follow up on referrals/leads from Owners.
• Fulfill requests from Owners or prospects regarding pricing, property maps, property descriptions, room locations, and portfolio/network information.
• Contact Owners to monitor satisfaction, make them aware of upcoming promotions, and develop business opportunities (e.g., reloads, referrals).
• Develop and maintain records on customer contacts and use that information to support effective follow-up opportunities.

Guest Experience and Company Standards:

• Welcome and greet all guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Sales Executive Trainee:

• Available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements.
• The incumbent is required to maintain an active and in good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
• One-year related experience is preferred.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
