Job summary

Payentry in Peachtree Corners, GA is seeking a Licensed Retirement Plan Advisor to serve as the primary consultant for clients' 401(k) plans. You will educate employees, manage plan design and compliance, and help grow the firm through relationship-building and regulatory oversight.

The role combines advisory work with business development, requiring ERISA knowledge, strong communication, and independence to meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Active Series 65 or 66 licensing is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in retirement plan services or financial advising.
• Deep understanding of ERISA regulations, 401(k) compliance, and fiduciary standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills; professional certifications (PHR, CRPS, AIF) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the plan advisor for clients and advise on plan design, investment selection, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Act as the main point of contact for plan sponsors to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
• Identify growth opportunities for the firm.
• Conduct employee education sessions and enrollment meetings along with retirement readiness sessions.
• Monitor plan testing and assist with annual filings and CMS disclosures.
• Assist with preparing required reports and with audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
