Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join the Psychiatric Emergency Response team, assessing patients in the emergency department and recommending treatment. This is a remote role with evening shifts (3pm-11pm).

The position requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field and licensure as an LPC or LCSW. Base pay ranges from $75,712 to $114,420.80 annually with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is required.
• Licensure as LPC or LCSW is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
• Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
