Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role requires adherence to all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an ASPT program with active state licensure and CPR certification. New grads are welcome; one year of experience is preferred to support patient needs and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program (ASPT).
• Active state licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• One year PTA experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT-directed treatment plans for patients.
• Document patient progress accurately in charts.
• Utilize therapy software efficiently.
• Provide excellent patient service and communication.
• Assist in emergency evacuation of patients as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
