Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement the plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will educate patients and families and serve as a clinical resource.

Education includes an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant with an active PTA license, BLS within 30 days, and board eligibility to complete the board exam. You will contribute to documentation and participate in department programs.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment with supervisor communication.
• Completes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR.
• Coordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions and progress.
• Communicates progress and recommendations to referring providers.
