UnitedHealth Group is hiring a full-time Licensed PTA for home health. Choose a 4- or 5-day work week. The role involves performing treatment, providing exercise instruction and patient education to improve well-being under a supervising PT.

Prerequisites include current Arkansas PTA licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Weekend rotation availability is required; benefits and a comprehensive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of Arkansas.
• CPR certification current.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home care PT provision and treatment set by supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other health team members in therapy within PTA scope.
