Job summary

Elite Home Health, part of LHC Group, is hiring a Full Time Licensed PTA to treat patients in their homes with an option for a 4-day work week. Join a nationwide post-acute care team under UnitedHealth Group's Optum family, committed to Caring, Connecting, Growing together.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will implement the plan of care, provide exercise instruction and patient education, and work with supervising PT to adjust treatment.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in Arkansas
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education per plan of care
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and care team
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and health care team in therapy areas within PTA scope
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition
