Job summary

Optum is seeking a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to treat patients in their homes, with an option for a 4-day work week. You will provide treatment, exercise instruction, and education aligned with the plan of care.

As part of Elite Home Health, within the LHC Group family, you’ll join a dedicated team focusing on compassionate care and meaningful patient connections. You will collaborate with supervising PTs and the health care team to improve patient well‑being.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA in Arkansas.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle.
• Preferred CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform patient care tasks including lifting and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care, and implement the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and mobility.
• Observes and reports patient responses and coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Educates patient/family on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in home settings regardless of patient background.
