As an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician), you will provide basic medical services to patients in an outpatient recovery environment, maintain standards of professional nursing practice, ensure the safe delivery of medication according to company policies, and keep thorough documentation of patient records and medical files in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Pay Range: $25/hour to $27/hour

Requirements:

• Active and current California nursing/technician license (including RN, LVN, or Psychiatric Technician), along with current CPR and first aid certification
• Experience with triaging in emergency situations and assisting with medical emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Implement procedures for receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substances
• Perform daily reconciliation of controlled substances as required by regulations
• Maintain accurate patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results
• Administer medication dosages and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
• Document and sign entries in patient treatment records as required
• Ensure patient confidentiality and security at the dispensing window
• Administer medication to hospitalized patients as needed
• Provide necessary documentation to Medical Director and Clinic Manager
• Complete all required forms thoroughly
• Maintain patient charts and filing systems
• Observe applicable federal and state regulations
• Orient new patients to program policies, rules, and procedures

Preferred Experience and Education:

• Prior nursing experience preferred
• Technical training or higher in Nursing or related field
• High School/GED or higher

Licenses & Certifications:

• Required: LVN
• Preferred: RN, Licensed Psychiatric Tech
