Job summary

Universal Health Services, Hickory Trail Hospital, a behavioral health facility just south of Dallas, seeks a Program Therapist to deliver clinical social work services, crisis intervention, and family therapy to patients across age groups.

The role focuses on assisting patients and families in achieving emotional health through therapeutic treatment skills, consultations, and referrals, with standard FT hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility with crisis intervention and family/group therapies; strong clinical assessment skills.
• Must possess a state licensure: LPC, LPC-I, LCDC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
• CPR and CPI training completed prior to starting work; must pass a competency exam.
• Full-time exempt position; work hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in meeting biopsychosocial needs and enable access to therapeutic treatment skills to improve emotional health; provide basic consultation, teaching, and referrals.
