Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking licensed therapists to provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients across treatment teams. The role includes interviewing and documenting patient histories, developing treatment objectives, and updating plans as needed.

The therapist will conduct family sessions before discharge, coordinate with the care team, and advocate for patients with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills to document assessments, treatment planning and interventions.
• Knowledge of individual, group and family therapy dynamics and techniques across diverse populations.
• Ability to assess treatment dynamics and develop effective treatment strategies within overall plans.
• Experience working with adolescent populations and understanding developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduits for therapeutic services for patients and families during stay.
• Conduct family sessions prior to discharge and coordinate discharge planning with the team.
• Lead general psychotherapy group sessions daily and tailor interventions to patient needs.
• Maintain a full caseload and communicate progress to families and guardians.
