Job summary

Applicants must hold a Master’s in Social Work or related field, state licensure (LPC/LMSW/LCSW/RN/LFMT), CPR/CPI/HWC training, and preferably one year in a psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related mental health field is required.
• One (1) year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health hospital setting preferred; internship possible.
• Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, RN, LFMT).
• CPR and CPI or HWC training must be completed prior to starting. Competency exam may be required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in meeting biopsychosocial needs and provide therapeutic treatment skills.
• Provide basic consultation, teaching and specialized clinical social work services; crisis intervention and family therapy.
• Offer information and referrals as needed.
