RHA Health Services, LLC in Milledgeville, GA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) for a day shift. This office-based role supports group homes and requires routine visits to residences, offering a structured, steady-paced environment outside hospital settings.

The position is full-time and onsite with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Compensation is $34/hr+ based on credentials and experience; candidates with IDD and case management experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration.
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.
• Conduct medication close assessments.
• Collect health related data.
• Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program

• Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families

• Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks

• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
