RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) for an office-based, full-time day shift. The role involves travel to group homes within about 20 miles of Cleveland, NC, to support our residential operations.

The position requires an accredited nursing program graduate, an active nursing license, and CPR certification. Compensation is $32/hr with incentives and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Location: Main office is out of Clevland, NC and all canidates must be willing to travel to our group homes within a 20 miunute commute from Clevland such as in Salisbury, NC.

Employment Type: Full-time, Day Shift Compensation: $32/hr+ Incentives: No sign-on bonus is being offered at this time. No relocation packaged offered. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

This is an office-based position that supports our group home operations and requires routine visits to our residential homes. It is ideal for nurses seeking a more structured and steady-paced environment outside of traditional fast-paced hospital or SNF settings. Candidates with prior IDD and case management experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled
• Conduct medication closest assessments
• Collect health related data
• Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families
• Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks
• Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities) Drug testing Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
