Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based 1:1 role in Covington, GA for the 26/27 school year. This full-time position supports a local K-12 district with nursing services and includes W-2 compensation with comprehensive benefits.

You will provide ongoing student observation, medication administration, and collaboration with school teams, under clinical supervision, in a private duty setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
• Pediatric nursing skills with seizure management and rescue meds.
• Oxygen and airway management proficiency.
• Medication administration with strong assessment and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently; school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
• Support chronic condition management and assist with care plans.
• Provide first aid and medication administration.
• Document care and communicate with school teams.
• Accompany student during transportation and community activities as assigned.
• Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family.

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Covington, GA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active LPN License in Georgia
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
  • Pediatric skillset
  • Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
  • Oxygen and airway management
  • Medication administration
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
• Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice
• School-based experience highly preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO
