Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor residents in a 24/7 setting. Shifts include Day 7am-7pm and Night 7pm-7am, with bonuses for weekend 2-12s.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, team collaboration, and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate holds PA LPN licensure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally one year of LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in nursing preferred.
• One year of experience as an LPN or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest best practices.
• Assist with preparing patients for meals, activities, and therapies; provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
