Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a substance use treatment organization offering comprehensive behavioral health programs across Illinois. We are seeking an entry-level LPN to support patients through assessment, medication-assisted treatment, and recovery services.

Requirements include IL LPN license, CPR, strong communication skills, nursing basics, and substance abuse knowledge. Will travel as needed. Benefits include Health, Vision, Life Insurance, EAP, and paid time off.

Formación

• One year of experience in Behavioral Health Care or hospital setting is suggested.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document patient information clearly.
• Familiarity with nursing basics and medical terminology is required.
• Knowledge of substance abuse pathology and relevant regulations is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Process patients from assessment to discharge in medication-assisted treatment and drug-free programming.
• Dispense medications under procedures and regulations.
• Monitor methadone and other medication dosages for safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor physical and mental health status of patients and document findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed.

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a substance use treatmentorganization offering comprehensive behavioral health programs,including medication-assisted recovery, to individuals with substanceuse disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring mental health conditions. Withover 25 years of experience and multiple locations across the state,we provide a full continuum of care for substance use disorder, fromprevention and harm reduction to treatment and recovery support. Ourprograms integrate FDA-approved medications for the treatment ofsubstance use disorders, including all three medications approved totreat opioid use disorder (buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone).We strive to meet our patients where they are, bringing care outsideclinic walls via telehealth and mobile services and ensuring patientshave access to harm reduction resources and education.

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in bothmedications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.
• Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by FamilyGuidance Center,Substance Use Prevention and Recovery,ClinicalSustainability Assessment Tooland the Drug Enforcement Administration
• Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and medication dosages.
• Monitors the physical & mental health well-being of patientsand documents findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $30.00

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: L.P.N.registered in the State of Illinois and certified in CPR required
