Job summary

Spring Hill Recovery Center in Ashby, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate client care under the Nursing Supervisor.

You will administer medications, monitor patient status, document in the EMR, and collaborate with our medical team to implement individualized treatment plans for clients in our outpatient program.

Applicants must hold a Massachusetts LPN license, have CPR/First Aid, and preferably experience with SUD patients; the role includes day or night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse at our Spring Hill Recovery Center facility in Ashby, Massachusetts!

Salary: $34.00/hour

Schedule: Days or Nights

Job Summary:

Under the guidance of the Nursing Supervisor, the LPN will provide exceptional nursing care to each client based on their individualized needs.

LPN responsibilities:

• Observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of clients and takes immediate action when necessary.
• Prepares and monitors medications and treatments.
• Documents required information, including medications and dosage in EMR system.
• Performs all nursing responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in our outpatient treatment program.
• Assesses the client's medical issues and takes appropriate action as needed.
• Assists and coordinates nursing care with the staff MD and clinical team.
• Works with the multi-disciplinary team on individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SUD patients preferred.
• 1+ year of experience as a staff nurse.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures used in the event of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid, CPR and Narcan administering.
• Demonstrates excellent proficiency in communication, observation & written skills.
• Ability to lift or push 20 pounds or more.
• Will be required to stand and/or move throughout a large portion of the shift.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current Massachusetts LPN License
• CPR certified preferred

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
