Spring Hill Recovery Center, part of Northeast Recovery, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day shifts in Ashby, MA. The role involves bedside care, medication preparation, and EMR documentation within a residential program.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support a structured recovery plan, using CPR/First Aid and Narcan protocols. LPN license and experience with SUD patients are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a staff nurse.
• Knowledge of addiction and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures (First Aid, CPR and Narcan).
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws regulating treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction.
• Current Massachusetts LPN License and CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in our residential treatment program.
• Prepares and monitors medications and treatments.
• Documents medications and dosage in KIPU EMR.
• Observes and evaluates physical and emotional status; takes timely action.
• Coordinates nursing care with Medical and Clinical teams.
• Contributes to the client recovery plan with ongoing assessment.

Our mission. Spring Hill Recovery Center is apart of Northeast Recovery, a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities. We provide multiple levels of care to those who are prepared to start their journey to recovery.We are looking for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Spring Hill Recovery Center in Ashby, MA.Schedule: 7 AM - 7 PM or 9 AM - 9 PMWe are offering a $1,500 sign on bonus to be paid out after 90 days of continued employmentSalary: $34.00- $37.00 hourlyLPN Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Nursing Manager, the LPN will provide exceptional nursing care to each client based on his/her individualized needs.LPN responsibilities:Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in our residential treatment program.Prepares and monitors medications and treatments.Documents required information, including medications and dosage in KIPU, our EMR system.Performs all nursing responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.Observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of clients and takes immediate action when necessary.Assists and coordinates nursing care with the Medical and Clinical team.Works with the multi-disciplinary team on the client's recovery plan. The LPN will participate and contribute to this plan by assessing and documenting the client's overall physical condition or changes, daily.LPN RequirementsKnowledge of addiction and the 12-Step Recovery Program.Knowledge of emergency procedures used in the event of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid, CPR and Narcan administering.Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction.
