Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Taylorsville, KY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes. We have full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, and night shifts; pay depends on schedule, experience, and patient needs.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, documenting findings and coordinating with families and health teams.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-ray within current compliance.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
