Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join The Village at Summerville. You will provide compassionate care, follow individualized care plans, and support residents and families with updates and coordination of services.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in South Carolina.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized care according to residents’ care plans.
• Perform rounds and monitor residents’ conditions throughout shifts.
• Supervise and direct other care staff.
• Communicate care updates with residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Notify physicians and families of significant changes in resident conditions.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintain clinical competency and uphold professional standards.
• Work weekends, holidays, and according to resident needs.
