Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the 4A Cardiac unit in Missouri. You’ll provide direct patient care using the nursing process, monitor telemetry, and support care coordination with the team. Rotations include 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am; both full-time and part-time roles are available.

New grads and experienced LPNs are welcome. The role offers sign-on bonuses, education assistance, relocation support, weekend and night differentials, and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; licensure in hiring state required.
• LPN license must be maintained in the state where duties are performed.
• Current BLS/ACLS or eligible for course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and coordinate with other departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
• Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
• Certifications
  • LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
