Mercy in Missouri seeks LPNs for the Med Surg/Tele Innovation Unit. Nurses provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision, coordinate with departments, and protect patient rights and confidentiality. Shifts are 12 hours (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Must hold Missouri LPN license and LPN-IV certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation.

• Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN

Must be LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

3D is a Med-surg Telemetry unit which focuses on adult medical patients that require telemetry monitoring. Join our Innovation Unit (IU), which will be a “testing ground” for new innovative/optimization ideas to solve current and future nursing challenges & opportunities using quick PDSA cycles for improvement. All projects will reside under our four ministry wide nursing strategies for improvement. Here you will develop excellent critical thinking and assessment skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills.
