Staunton Post Acute & Rehabilitation in Staunton, VA is hiring LPNs for full-time night shifts and part-time options in a compassionate long-term care setting. Enjoy a $10,000 sign-on or opt for higher hourly pay with a $2.25 shift differential, plus a $5,000 sign-on for part-time.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort measures.
• Monitor samples and catheters; provide wound care.
• Maintain resident charts and confidentiality per policies and regulations.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion


• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams


• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being


• Assist with resident comfort.


• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.


• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.


• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.


• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Active LPN license in Virginia


• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)


• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!


• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
