Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The nurse will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing a spectrum of health needs.

Shifts are Per-Diem, As Needed. Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license and CPR are required; security clearance and background checks will be conducted as part of hiring.

Qualifications

• Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a correctional setting.
• Shift: Per-Diem, As Needed.
