Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Shifts are Nights. Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain, CPR current, and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with MO license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a correctional setting.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
