Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.

The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Requires MO LPN license, IV, CPR/BLS, and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Must be IV Certified.
• Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
