Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, MO. Night shift (7pm–7:30am) with a $10,000 hiring bonus for new full-time nurses. The LPN will provide holistic care under RN supervision and collaborate with medical/psychiatric staff to address diverse health needs.

Responsibilities include executing care within scope, documenting actions, and contributing to patient safety and quality of care in a corrections setting.

Qualifications

• Missouri LPN license required or ability to obtain license.
• IV certification required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice under direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and participate in care coordination.

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Farmington Correctional Center located in Farmington, Missouri.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
