The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Wound Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will provide focused wound care for residents on a consistent 12-hour weekend schedule, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth within a supportive nursing leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina LPN license.
• Wound care experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Dependable and committed to providing resident care.
• Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents with wounds and skin concerns.
• Provide wound treatments according to physician orders and established care plans.
• Complete accurate wound assessments and documentation.
• Monitor healing progress and identify changes in resident condition.
• Communicate concerns and changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assist with preventing skin breakdown and promoting positive wound outcomes.
• Ensure wound care supplies and treatments are appropriately maintained.

The Greens at Gastonia is a Long-Term Care facility committed to providing individualized, quality care and rehabilitation to our residents. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Wound Nurse to join our nursing team.
