Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor - in Port Charlotte, FL, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for weekend double shifts (3–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM) with differential pay. Florida AHCA background screening is required for this role. We are a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility, located at 4000 Kings Hwy, Port Charlotte.

Qualifications

• LPN license required by the State of Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, discharge and transfers of residents.
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians.
• Medication administration.
• Following infection control, emergency, and other center policies.
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes.
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy.
