Job summary

Hilltop Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to join our night shift team in Rutherfordton, NC. This facility is part of the Ascent Healthcare Management family and focuses on resident-centered, quality care.

We offer daily pay, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, shift differential, and robust training. You will provide bedside care, administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with injections and wound care, and support the night team.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN licensure in NC
• CPR certification required
• Strong patient care focus and compassionate demeanor

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and document therapeutic effects
• Administer medications and monitor effects
• Take and record vital signs
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Monitor catheters and collect samples as needed
• Provide wound care
• Assist with coaching other staff as necessary

Shift details:

• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, 11pm-7am available

What you will do:

• Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
• Assist with resident comfort
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Provide wound care
• Help coach staff as necessary

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Up to date first aid and CPR certification
• Current LPN/RN license in NC
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
