Job summary

Prime Healthcare at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Night LVN/LPN to join the Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit. Under RN supervision, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care in a telemetry setting, prioritizing safety, comfort and overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN/LVN license.
• IV certification and BW certification required within 90 days.
• BLS certification required on hire & maintained.
• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintained.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in telemetry under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to maintain safety and comfort.
• Support patient experience and ensure quality care during night shift.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.5. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.6. Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31.00 to $40.00.
