Prime Healthcare’s Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Psych Unit - Adult Intensive. This full-time Days role includes 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends/holidays and free parking.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision; must have HS diploma, LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certification within 90 days, and a current BLS. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.

3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.

4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.
